(Pictured: The peak of our Victorian)I have always read books on how to create passive income streams. About Me and my Heroes One of my heroes is Dr. Wayne Dyer. I love many of Dyer`s ideas about life and his ideas about work. He always worked towards having more and more freedom--and eventually having financial freedom. Dyer is a psychologist, he also taught at a university, and he became a writer. Eventually he didn`t have to work at all, but enjoys giving lectures and writing books that inspire and help people.

About Me and my Life My name is Kevin Burns and I have lived in Japan for almost half my life. Growing up in California and British Columbia, I had no idea I would make my life and make it in Japan. Yet I always had inklings of that fact. Coincidences,fate, epiphanies (whatever you want to call them), always seemed to lead me towards Japan. At seven years old I got it in my head that one day I would have to go to Japan. I`m not sure why exactly, I know I had been watching a documentary about Japan at the time, so maybe it was as simple as that. About Me and this Website Why this site? Like the quote above by Sugars, I too want financial freedom, yet want to leverage my time--or I like to say, "work smart." This site is a part of that. My goal with each website I make is to make a passive income stream for life. I think each website should be able to make my family and I 1,000 dollars per month or more. I plan on making at least six websites. How many websites I make doesn`t really matter to me as I love to write. I may well make many more. However my first goal is to get six websites making me 1,000 dollars per month. My wife and I also own a small store and a small chain of English schools in Japan. We hire fulltime and part-time teachers to teach at Kevin`s English Schools, and have a part-time Assistant Manager, who takes care of our Merry Lue Store in Kanagawa, Japan. I also teach English at a university, and my wife Ikumi teaches English at a local junior high school. While life is good, I am always shooting for more and more freedom, and the chance to write more. If you love to write, I encourage you to think about what I am doing. And I want to emphasize that you cannot do this easily with Wordpress or any other software. This is not a lie. It is what I really believe. The software I use is called SBI - Site Build it, and it is a whole suite of great tools to use to make money on the internet. There are no plug ins, or widgets to fiddle with to attempt to tweak the site in order to make money, the whole package is predesigned to do exactly that. Plus it is very reasonably priced. Ken Evoy is Canadian to boot! Being a Canadian myself, I try to buy Canadian as much as I can. How do I make money with this website? I make money every time you click on a google ad or buy something from one of the affilliate ads at this website and the other websites I make. (Pictured: My family in Tokyo) So in a nutshell, writing is what I love to do, and SBI allows me to make a living at it. I am hoping to retire from these websites. Many have gone before me and retired with just one SBI website! Regardless, I hope I have given you something to think about, and perhaps even inspired you a little. I have never felt we should spend our lives slaving. Which to me is what most people actually do. They work a heck of a lot just to get a short holiday each year. Then when they are really old, they get to retire. They have a few years left that they can actually do something with. Not much of a bargain and it isn`t for me! Or if they are unlucky, the dieor suffer a debilitating illness even before they get to retire. If you want financial independence, or just love to write. I recommend Site Build it!
